“The goal of real healthcare reform must be high-quality, universal coverage in a cost-effective way.”

The current pandemic has reminded us of the undeniable significance of healthcare systems, that not only guide us through global epidemics like these but also help pinpoint the status of both, the health of citizens and the standard of living in a country.

In times like these, it becomes even more pertinent to strengthen the existing healthcare systems in place, in a way that makes them better equipped to process and handle healthcare crises in future, as well as facilitate the same for frontline workers without putting them at a risk.

‘Aarogyam’ is a joint initiative by AIC-GUSEC and Headstart Foundation, and aims to scout and guide startups in the healthcare sector, catering to their needs that include but aren’t limited to funding support, mentorship, assistance in validation and testing of their innovation, IPR/Patent facilitation, investor connections, networking, co-working and lab space, etc.

The initiative aims to strengthen and support innovators and entrepreneurs in the healthcare sector across the state of Gujarat that shall in turn address challenges in the healthcare sphere, eliminate disparities and provide citizens with health equity.

The Aarogyam program shall be composed of a boot camp consisting of multiple engagement programs & workshops along with specific and focussed mentor sessions for the shortlisted startups.
